How can we disciple and train up our children in the ways of the Lord if we are educating them contrary to His ways?

Review this section and you’ll see the dangers of allowing others to raise your children for you.

Did you know that children spend 14,000 seat hours in school between kindergarten and 12th grade?

Meanwhile, the average Christian family spends less than 30 minutes per week discussing spiritual matters.

“A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher.” Luke 6:40

What type of disciple do you want your child to be?

A disciple of Caesar, or a disciple of Jesus?

Somewhere between 70% and 88% of Evangelical’s children have nothing to do with spiritual things by the end of their freshman year in college. …  If we continue to send our children to Caesar for their education, we need to stop being surprised when they come home as Romans.

What is your worldview?

Presented by Elder Mickey Friedrich of Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX

Both the Family and the Church should be Engaged.

“It is time for the Church to make an unqualified decision that local churches will once again, in conjunction with parents, take on full responsibility for the education of their children.”

-Dan Smithwick, Nehemiah Institute

Secular school curriculum strips God from academics.

Business, law, civics, government, medicine, the arts, humanities… Can these subjects be taught in truth outside the purview of Scripture and the Lordship of Christ?

Of course, they cannot. This begs the question: Why is the church allowing the world to disciple our children?

Is not the Biblical worldview an all-encompassing comprehensive worldview that does indeed speak to all aspect of life?

Dualism has crept into the church and made us believe that Biblical thinking is confined to the “spiritual” subjects such as prayer, Bible reading, Christian marriage, etc. rather than every area of thought and action.

Let’s put action to Jesus’ core calling to the Church in Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8, because education is discipleship.

Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14

The Christian Education Initiative (CEI) is a Bible-based, evangelical alliance of member organizations whose purpose is to advance the Kingdom of God by growing Christian education, thus helping to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the cultural mandate (Genesis 1:28-29; Matthew 5:13-14).

Action Item: Share This Special Report

We’re sharing New American Magazine’s latest plea, Save Our Children.

You can help by sending this to your friends, family, and church leadership and other members.

You’ll learn the sinister history of public education, what’s happening now and where it’s going.

This action will build on what we started with Rescuing Our Children, which you can learn about in the video below.

Together, we can Save Our Children!

Atheists don’t send their children to an evangelical Christian Sunday School one hour per week, but Christians send their children to the atheist public schools 30 hours per week. I am a retired teacher and proclaim that there is no hope for America as long as Christians and conservatives allow our children to be indoctrinated in the pagan “public” schools.
