In this article, Alex Newman brings an important application of Biblical teaching to a present-day system.  Jesus commissioned His Church, to learn, live and teach others how to live according to all of His commands.   The Church should lead in all areas, including sound monetary policy.    Honest weights and measures are part of God's call to justice, and money, which we use to make transactions, is rightly a weight or measure.    Money disconnected from a source with clear and understandable value results in theft.  Like any unjust weight or measure, it is an abomination to the Lord.  (Duet. 5:21; Prov. 11:1, 16:11, 20:10, 20:23)
